- Managed eight-person logistical team, creating
an empowered, dynamic work environment
- Successfully negotiated all in-kind fundraising
from community sources, including donations of catering, flowers,
restaurant receptions, pagers, etc.; Negotiated goods and services
in exchange of sponsorship/advertising
- Coordinated lodging, transportation, and personal
concerns for approximately 60 visiting artists during the month-long
festival. This included securing suitable housing, arranging transportation
to outreach sites, air transportation, rental cars, phone hook-up,
rental furniture, developing on-site communication systems, linens,
keys, room assignments, etc.
- Organized receptions, student orientations, and
other program functions. This included coordinating hospitality
crew, securing donations of food, catering and restaurant receptions,
floral arrangements, creating an attractive and celebratory atmosphere,
etc.
- Prepared and presented weekly logistical operations
plans at staff meetings, coordinating the movements of all staff
members and visiting artists
- Coordinated the hiring of housing and artist liaison
personnel
- Developed and implemented all artists itineraries
- Oversaw development of artists’ welcome
packets
- Supervised weekly house changeovers

- Managed five-person Customer Service Team, in
an empowered atmosphere, coordinating schedules and skill-sets.
- Reconciled tickets sales and cash and credit card
records, for Chautauqua and outside agents using our facilities.
- Distributed tickets to outside vendors.
